Ogenyi Onazi’s move to English Championship club Birmingham from Trabzonspor is in doubt, as he has resumed training with the Turkish team.
The Super Eagles’ midfielder has been linked with a move to Birmingham City in the past few days and it was reported to be close.
Both clubs were believed to have agreed a €4.5million deal, but the move was held up due to work permit issues.
Now according to Turkish daily newspaper, Hurriyet, Onazi has been asked to resume with his team-mates ahead of Sunday’s match at Fenerbahce.
Onazi, who has three years left on his Trabzonspor contract, was not in Trabzonspor’s squad who kicked off the new campaign with a 2-1 win against Konyaspor last weekend.
