NDE trains 2, 800 women on cosmetology


 

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Kano yesterday disclosed that under the Federal Government’s 76, 400 nationwide job creation programme, it will train 4000 people on various skill acquisition to be self-reliant.

Speaking at a ceremony for beneficiaries at the NDE state secretariat, the state coordinator, Malam Ilyasu Ahmed, stated that 2800 of the 4000 participants allocated to the state are women.

According to him, this was due to the fact that women play a vital role in societal development and as such needed to be given priority.
